:hysterical: so 8-0 due to Dhoni but 1-1 was due to team where Dhoni happened to be the captain Still don't get why Sachin fanbois are so anti-Dhoni
No, but 0-8 could have been 2-6 if we had a better kaptaan. It could have been 2-5 if we had a kaptaan who was a wicketkeeper instead of a goalkeeper, and it could have been 2-4 if we had a kaptaan who could bat away from home. Now 2-4 doesn't sound too bad compared to 0-8, does it?

Would be fun to run the same and see who wins the Champions Trophy

ICC describes the 50-over World Cup as the pinnacle in the sport and it is the highest recognized accolade. So, it has to be the World Cup 2011. I remember with fondness the moment we won the World Cup. I had tears in my eyes. After following the sport for 2 decades, I had finally witnessed our team achieve the pinnacle in the sport.

True that! For Indian cricket fans it was a moment to cherish and is a "where were you" moment :icflove: I never really thought I would see another WC win by India just like Eng footie team never won anything after 1966. Now at least I know what it feels like to win a WC and that too by beating Pakis on the way to the title :yay:

I watched the S/F over the weekend  Have the Q/F, S/F and Final on DVDs and watch them occasionally. Always brings a smile to your face no matter how down you are :two_thumbs_up: Still remember the gamut of emotions when Dhoni hit that 6... didn't even know how to react. Even when India were sure to win and India were just 4 runs away from a win I just couldn't believe it and was waiting in the same spot (my lucky position) till winning runs were scored. After that 6 jumped about and went crazy with friends followed by driving around with the India flag :isalute: Nothing can ever beat that day :icflove:

Firstly software and models are not interchangeable as you have implied. Software is based on a model, and no I can't share them since they are proprietary. However, I can tell you one thing for sure - India is not going to win the Champions Trophy. Bet your house on it. As to how I arrived at those numbers the crap captaincy at Lords, Trent Bridge, and Melbourne coupled with crap batting and keeping throughout is enough.

Like how we should bet on Dhawan and Vijay are test hack and Jadeja is a rubbish bowler or how Amit Mishra is a legend in the making . And u arrive at how we will perform in CT based on his performance in test series in England and Australia Did u get that software from china ?

And how did India achieve 1-1 in SA (best result ever there) with the goal keeper who who cant bat away from home?

Not as long as Dhoni is kaptaan because in his tenure we won't be playing another WC at home.
Yeah because winning World cup at home is a piece of cake. Ask that to England who hosted it only 4 times (first 3 in a row) and still failed  And yeah it would be fun to know your thesis on how India won the T20 World cup in SA? Since Dhoni is crap away? or was that just an anomaly?

That actually takes the cake!

Amit Mishra looked a class act when he bowled that match winning spell vs the Aussies all those years ago. I thought the series draw in SA was a great achievement, only just... and his unbeaten spell in series won/drawn...Test successes are superior to ODI ones, even WC wins. I voted for the No 1 ranking but in hindsight maybe those foundations were laid by Kumble.

if we say 10-1 then we have to say 10-5. Its just 8-0 its still pathetic but not 10-1.
add 2 matches vs NZ and 2 vs WI at home, 1 match vs WI away too in the same period, so 10-10 in tests since WC.
