He makes an a very obvious and common statement it becomes a huge deal because he did not play that game. People who are playing first class cricket know their performances will be recognised. It's not like a couple of years ago when people were coming straight from U-19 into the national team. I would go out on a limb and say no batsman will be really comfortable when the ball swings and seams around with good pace and bounce, even the ones from Eng, SA and Aus.

One of the most petty, pathetic players around. Its a great shame because till the 2011 World Cup his attitude was completely different. But classic case of just a couple of years of success going to this guy's head and he has become a thoroughly detestable character these days. Happy to see him out of the Indian team - he can carry on like an idiot in the tamasha league.

We should not read much into all these comments. He will always remain one of the better Indian openers across formats and can still be back to do well if he just improves his technique a little more especially the poking thing.
