Karnataka is weaker in batting, but makes up in bowling.
Roger Binny Mankad
Carlon Saldhana Gavaskar
Rahul Dravid Hazare
GR VIshwanth Tendulkar
Brijesh Patel Vengsarkar
Sudhakar Rao Merchant
SMH Kirmani Engineer
Srinath Shastri
Kumble Zaheer
Prasanna Shivalkar
Chandrashekar Gupte

You are right it is Bombay batting vs Karnataka bowling. That Bombay batting is scary. Right now to Shastri they are all top level batsman :fear: Karnatak bowling is pretty good. Srinath and Binny opening with Prasanna-Kumble-Chandra doing the bulk of heavy work (no Dodda Ganesh or Mithun? :winky: )

The 1947 partition of Punjab saw mass migration across the border. Many punjabis from present day Punjab in pakistan shifted to Delhi especially and some spread into modern day Punjab, HP, Haryana. There are also Punjabi speaking regions still in Haryana, and to a lesser extent Rajasthan. Punjabi is thus the second official language in Haryana and Delhi. As for Punjabi cricketers here are a few: Gautam Gambhir Navjot Singh Sidhu Mohinder Amarnath Virat Kohli Yuvraj Singh Shikar Dhawan Kapil Dev Bishen Singh Bedi Harbhajan Singh Both the world cups that India won, Punjabis won man of the series awards :D

Were Madan Lal and Balwinder Sandhu and Roger Binny all around 125-130 types or were they 130-135 types? Do folks here know?
My guess would be Madan Lal - 110 Sandhu - 110.5 Binny - 110.9 Binny was fastest.

His family moved from modern day Pakistani Punjab and settled in Indian Punjab. He was born in Chandigarh in 1959. In 1966, Indian Punjab was further divided into HP and Haryana. He would go onto play his cricket for Haryana. That's why the name Haryana Hurricane. Even the likes of Wasim Akram's family moved from Amritsar during the Partition.

Btw, fast bowling requires a mixture of qualities. Being strongly built doesn't mean your'll bowl fast, for example look at Watson or Symonds, they're built like tanks but someone like a Ajit Agarkar who's got a slingy action will bowl faster than them. Flexibility, agility, run up, bowling action, wrist position/release, transfer of weight are the important ingredients. Some bowlers naturally have these skills and turn out to be great fast bowlers. Fine tune these skills and you've got yourself a quality bowler.

You mentioned everything except the need to have a good brain to think and bowl according to situation.without it all the above are useless.

Yeah, I was going to post that next. Basic strategic theory or just common sense goes a long way. Sreesanth is an example of that. Some bowlers even after so much international experience lose the basics of line and length. For that Ishant comes to mind. Steyn is a perfect example, good endurance and stamina, not that heavily built just about average, but excellent bowling aciton and wirst position/release to get accurate swing. Swing in combination with pace is much more deadly than just raw pace. Excellent baics of line and length and most importantly tremendous accuracy.

Fast bowling is a tough job. Needs good man management. knowing our board trying to fill with odis as possible on a tour. We as cricket lovers never encourage fast bowlers as well. how much money does fast bowlers make there are financial matters as well. On a average fast bowlers make much less compared to batsmen in our country atleast. So there is motivation factor as well.

You are trying to say he is from Madhya Pradesh I don't what are you trying to say here As far as I know that nagpur is in Maharashtra, which makes Umesh Yadav a Maharashtrian and first ever player from Vidarbha team to play test cricket.
