One of those spinners with a slightly longer run-up, Underwood just like our Chandra (more mysterious) would be a good choice for any one picking their own dream team.

The logic of choosing players who have played only a few tests very well, seems greatly flawed. Same thing about great county players. Remember Graeme Hick. How good Barry Richards and Graeme Pollock would have been, if they had played tests for many many years, in different weather conditions, pitches, countries etc. , will never be known. Retaining, hunger for the game, focus, fitness etc over a long time in international cricket can never be taken for granted unless a player has actually proved it. Also, the flaws of a player become more exposed as they play more and more. Including Pollock and Barry in an all-time XI, based on talent and potential, is unfair to those greats who have actually proved it. Muraludharan. >>>> Gibbs anyday anywhere
