Straight Drive Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Mohit has bowled well given that he's not played such a competitive tournament before.Picked enough wickets for his experience, especially on the patta wicket of Chennai which adds more value to statistics.

Shami hasn't had games in the IPL but has been the standout bowler on A tours and FC cricket so far,.Vinay is doing better than Mohit, so why should Mohit be fast tracked based on what he's done in IPL? He has to play one more full season and hopefully a couple of A tours before being drafted into the national side.

Even Vinay Kumar will be picked on based on IPL if picked ahead of Shami as he was dropped last year.
