Can Sir Viv's presence in DD revive Sehwag's international career?

The general consensus on reasons for Sehwag's complete loss of form has been lack of motivation, a sense of hurt for being ignored as an India captain and a very casual approach to cricket especially as he has grown older and reflexes have slowed down. With Sir Viv as a DD mentor, do you see him helping Sehwag regain his focus and eke out another 2-3 years of international cricket? If there's one man who can challenge Viru's ego and help him set new goals for the next 2-3 years, it's Sir Viv. I know this is a knee jerk reaction to how Sehwag played yesterday immediately after having a pep talk with Sir Viv. The bowling was weak too. Will the legend be able to bring Sehwag out of his comfort zone and work hard on his fitness and overall approach to the game, or is it too late in the day now for Sehwag?

If it was any other player I would have said that its foolish to judge him on the basis of IPL performances but its Sehwag and whenever he's been out of form, he has needed just 1 or 2 good innings to come back into form so maybe this innings could do the trick for him. If Sir Viv really has had such an impact then I'd say bring him in the Indian team because there are plenty of players in need of motivation.

Sehwag did acknowledge Viv asking him to 'fake' being confident irrespective of how he was feeling from inside, helped him yesterday. Maybe he was just being nice to the legend but thats exactly what mental conditioning coaches do, talk to you and help you pour out your insecurities and perform with a free mind.

I hope so. Sehwag is the one of the most talented batsman we produced in last decade. If we can give Sachin so many chances, why not Sehwag? The thing with Sehwag, he dont have to prove his pedigree. We all know he is a class act. If he comes back to form and more importantly improve his fitness, he must be brought back to the side immidiately.

His biggest weakness is his slow reflexes which does not help him to play on a sporting track.

Revival of his career is more dependent on sustaining of Vijay's and Dhawan's form than anything else. Atleast for this moment. Remember how Sehwag got back last time. With not much first class form he was desperately picked for Australian tour. After Jaffer's horror show we had no choice but to get Viru back in the side.
