Which means they need to win 7 of their 9 remaining matches. That mumbai game was make or break for them. It was at their home ground which was their fortress last season.

Actually you need at least 16 points because you have to win at least 8/16 with good NRR and to be more confident, 9/16. KKR need to win 6/7 of their remaining 9. They play next against CSK, a defeat there would be curtains really.

I think last season saw teams with 17 and good RR going through. So this season me thinks 18 will be needed. Rain breaks aside.
