Bhuvi is a good odi prospect but really needs to add a yorker and variations to his game.In tests he is average but india do not have many options.

Hard to say he is average when he has not played many tests,i really think he can be very effective in south africa.

He is excellent with new ball. Will be effective with new ball in tests as well. Jury is out in odi and more so in tests in what he is like with older ball. Can he reverse it effectivley? Great find though. Always get break throughs with new ball. Is like pollock in his later years ( not in early part of career were pollock had a bit of pace)

Agreed. His new ball bowling is as strong as anyone, but only when he proves himself with the old ball will he be a true great fast bowler.
