Here the question is Meyappan is a close friend , invited him to CSK matches , arranged a seat beside your Bhabi..lot of dots , we just have to connect them.

Betting is a different thing. Gurunath might have been involved in betting but it does not mean players were fixing the game for him. It is too big an accusation on players like MSD, Hussey, Raina, etc. without evidence.
