New Delhi: Indian cricket's image has taken its worst beating in years with the IPL betting and spot fixing scandal. BCCI Chief N Srinivasan is under pressure from all quarters to resign but the man himself remains defiant saying he won't. This even as voices from within the BCCI are growing stronger against him. BCCI treasurer Ajay Shirke has now said the board should convene an emergency meeting and has called for a complete clean up. Speaking to IBN18 Editor-in-Chief Rajdeep Sardesai, Shirke said, "I would definitely say that there is a need for a definitive decision with regards to all the members being called together. What the decision of that meeting will be is in the realm of speculation, but there is a need for all the board members to come together and discuss." "There has to be a complete clean up and let me tell you people like me will lose interest in working in this area if a clean up doesn't happen," Shirke said.

New Delhi: Delhi Police Commissioner Neeraj Kumar on Wednesday night said there is a possibility of involvement of an IPL team besides Rajasthan Royals in spot-fixing but said no "breakthrough" has come in this regard so far. "There is a possibility of involvement of another IPL team ", Kumar said when asked on the involvement of more IPL teams in the spot-fixing scandal. He said Delhi Police were "hoping for a breakthrough but that hasn't come as yet. So, we will be looking at wider ramifications of our case as well".
