how about Pollard's dropped catches? I haven't watched the IPL this season but from what I have read on ICF, newspapers etc there have been way too many cases of suspect performance from batsmen, bowlers, fielders and umpires right from the start of this season. Lets see if any of those are investigated.

Why is everyone getting worked up over here, bad apples are everywhere , unlike other boards , I think BCCI has always done the right thing they have never selected any player with even a hint of scandal. If these three are guilty they will be punished, they are already suspended and I dont think they will ever play cricket anymore what else you need from the board.

I agree. He bowled two shocking noballs only in that match. No overstepping before or after.

BCCI has its own ICC affiliated anti-corruption unit. Not only have they failed to prevent such things from happening, they have failed to catch them too. Its a shame

Towels should be banned in all cricket matches ' date=' then.[/quote'] You can always come up with new ways to signal....the TV camera is always on you especially if you're about to bowl or bat...u can sneeze, flex your arm, call for a new pair of gloves, change bats, remove your head band, remove your helmet for a sec, stretch, stop the bowler from bowling the first ball blaming the sight screen....any of these can be used as signals.

There are too many opportunities here really. No wonder some are taking potshots at IPL, next at Indians I wonder? This incident has nothing to with the competition type, and if you believe so, might just ban every cricket as corruption has proved there as well. More importantly, RR is in a tricky situation. I am sure the noises will rise again and BCCI will look to remove RR like they tried and failed 2 years back. Actually, RR might even miss the playoffs this season. Thus, please let's not try to bring a lot of unnecessary connections.
