I don't think it will be easy for Srini to escape this time. Not when he's under pressure from other Board members itself. That's the main difference- no one had challenged him from within prior to all this. I mean things aren't going to be a cakewalk when you have another arm twister (Sharad Pawar) baying for your blood. Link to comment

Mumbai police has not claimed fixing yet but betting. People are mixing two things. MP is working on betting nexus, not fixing. They wont have any evidence on fixing anyway because they just started investigation once DP exposed the scam. MP needed to save their assess after that, so they did it. MP police itself is involved in this nexus. Otherwise, there was no way they did not know when it was happening under their nose. Fixing was exposed by DP and DP has not come up with any new name in fixing after that. Link to comment

If people think CSK were involved in fixing then it cannot happen other teams and players and that includes several big and legendary players like SRT, RD, Viru, etc. You will have to doubt them too then. The franchise they loathe is in trouble due to the indiscretion of one rogue individual. They want to add fuel to the fire by adding their own special effects to the story to make it look worse than it is. It has nothing to do with facts or specific players from CSK or other teams. Match fixing is obviously more juicy than just betting. What they don't realize is that betting by an owner is almost as bad as fixing except that it doesn't taint any of the wins by the team. :winky: Link to comment
