The Outsider Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Don't want to suggest if his wife can directly be linked with fixing scandal but this is first time I have seen in Indian cricket when a leading cricketer is being used so much by his wife to hog limelight and media attention. She shares condolences about their dead dog with Dhoni on twitter. Comedy central hai poori. :hysterical:

Sidhoni Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Aus won the 4 test series 4-0. And I was talking till the Aus-India series in India so don't include that. Dhoni wasn't playing last match, Sehwag was captain. Riduculous line of thought. He was kept as captain even after 11-1 which clearly shows Srini had vested interest in him at that moment. Srini's whole empire should go which Dhoni is integral part of. Who supported Srini against Amarnath stay poorly exposed now. Some person whose family provides match strategies to bookies can not be entrusted with responsibility of running cricket in country. He has rushed to Mumbai to save his bookie Son-In-Law which is clearly and once again the interest of national cricket. As part of Dhoni himself, he needs to think, does he wants to continue symbolizing an institution (read CSK) which can been caught pants down in corruption. Repeated mentioning of his wife's name in whole saga also doesn't put Dhoni in good light. Don't want to suggest if his wife can directly be linked with fixing scandal but this is first time I have seen in Indian cricket when a leading cricketer is being used so much by his wife to hog limelight and media attention. Lol why are you telling me Srini's wrongdoings? Everyone knows about him and of course he should resign and if he doesn't do that, he should be kicked out. If Srini steps down/or gets sacked, CSK will most probably be terminated and the final might be the last match we are seeing CSK play. And his wife was just sitting next to Vindoo who was invited there by Meiyappan, and on basis of that you are trying to say that she is involved in fixing? :giggle:

Crookbond Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Arun Pandey- Rhiti- Vindoo-Meiyappan Arun Pandey - Rhiti- Vindoo - SRK- Tendulkar - Gavaskar
Sidhoni Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Arun Pandey- Rhiti- Vindoo-Meiyappan Sorry I couldn't see Dhoni/his wife in there, in any case for your brilliant correlation : Arun Pandey - Rhiti- Vindoo - SRK- Tendulkar - Gavaskar
diga Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Arun Pandey - Rhiti- Vindoo - SRK- Tendulkar - Gavaskar Raghav_12's post clearly states nothing about fixing, but Sakshi hogging limelight..If Sidhoni doesnt understand that & brings in fixing/betting into it, then whynot troll him ?
bulbul Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Arun Pandey - Rhiti- Vindoo - SRK- Tendulkar - Gavaskar ??? No need to get riled up :giggle:
ravishingravi Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Dhoni is practical. He doesn't give damn about captaincy beyond certain point. I think he has all makings of great BCCI chairman.

How is that relevant to the discussion on Cricket Talk ? I understand a bit of banter but need to understand certain limits.
superstar Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 People seem to forget Dhoni mentioned he will rethink his test career after 2013. No coincidence there as far as I know. Srini's original term ends this year and Dhoni knows people will be hunting for him.

Srini's original term ends this year and Dhoni knows people will be hunting for him. He never said that - he said he will consider retiring from one form of the game. It may not be Test matches; it looks probable but lets not judge.
Raghav_12 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 and on basis of that you are trying to say that she is involved in fixing? :giggle: I never said that she can be linked with fixing. Stated this as clearly as possible. Can't help if you can't comprehend. Don't want to suggest if his wife can directly be linked with fixing scandal
Raghav_12 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 How is that relevant to the discussion on Cricket Talk ? I understand a bit of banter but need to understand certain limits. I believe this is very much within the limits. She opted for cricket related public life and I didn't make a comment on her life outside cricketing. You move this post to chit-chat, if you want but that doesn't change the fact.

I am asking you to be consistent - be careful what path you tread; you live by the sword you die by it.
