CSK Fan Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 MI won two trophies with him on bench.he got the hint:two_thumbs_up: now do the same for India:pray: Abbe cheap guy at least don't spoil the tribute thread with your hate, there are numerous other threads for you to do that and you guys have kept on doing that. Even when a chaprasi retires from a MNC, people don't spoil his farewell speech with pointing out his shortcomings, have some class
CSK Fan Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 All the more reason for him to retire then :haha: cos it ain't happening with a struggling 40-year old # 4 batsman! Yes, its definitely happening with our IPL champions who cannot even put a bat to a short ball
rkt.india Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 He has had a few excellent seasons of IPL. Been off color this season. However' date=' he's had more good seasons than the rare bad one and thats what his cricket career has been. Success more often than not. Well played Sir. :hatsoff:[/quote'] He had 2 good seasons, 2010 and 2011, 4 seasons mostly average to poor.
CSK Fan Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Disgraceful how he retired on the field in what was meant to be his celebratory moment what it has done is hogged the limelight and ensure that he takes the headlines and not his teammates it is a disgraceful and tacky move. And it was the same guys like you who criticized him when he didn't retire after WC 2011, on a "high". The same guys criticized when he gave the reason as, "winning WC was a team effort, I don't want my retirement news to over-shadow it". People were calling him all sorts of names then too. Which just goes to show, dogs will bark because that's all they know

Even when a chaprasi retires from a MNC, people don't spoil his farewell speech with pointing out his shortcomings, have some class[/quote'] What farewell yaar? IPL is not even cricket. It is not really a mean of celebration that he retired from IPL. I dont care whether to play or not in the IPL.
CSK Fan Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 He had 2 good seasons' date=' 2010 and 2011, 4 seasons mostly average to poor.[/quote'] How many players have been consistent across all seasons?
CSK Fan Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 What farewell yaar? IPL is not even cricket. It is not really a mean of celebration that he retired from IPL. It might not matter to you, but it matters to a lot of fans who followed IPL and MI only for Sachin. So please speak only for yourself
rkt.india Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 How many players have been consistent across all seasons? I just stated the facts. I did not say anything about being consistent or anything. T20 in itself is hit and miss format.
asterix Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 It might not matter to you' date=' but it matters to a lot of fans who followed IPL and MI only for Sachin. So please speak only for yourself[/quote'] We need your support for MI even after he's retired. MI will keep him as batting coach....
vishalvirsingh Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Thank God Sachin Retired........ He was making a fool of himself always......he was always a Test and ODI batsman.....never was a Six hitter and IPL T 20"s worship 6 hitters....

He was making a fool of himself always......he was always a Test and ODI batsman.....never was a Six hitter and IPL T 20"s worship 6 hitters.... He was an awesome six hitter in his prime. He scored a 20 ball 50 at 16 against the like of Qadir
CSK Fan Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Common its light hearted comment :two_thumbs_up: Am seriously considering resigning from AVKC over this difference of opinion
Mariyam Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 :hatsoff: Thank you Sachin I was at the Wankhede when he hit his maiden IPL 100 against the Kochi Terriers Warriors. And the crowd chanted for the next 30 mins. Is he going to be associated with MI in any capacity in the future? Did he mention anything of the sort? Thank you for all the wonderful IPL memories.

That was fair enough (WC 2011) it was a team effort and it was right he didn't retire and overshadow team India's celebration, but he did that yesterday no doubt about that, even Punter seemed perturbed! And calling me a dog is pretty juvenile when you have shown in your last post that you do not even get yours facts right about a poster you are debating with, m adarchod
