PriyankaSR Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 none! absolutely none of them...not captaincy material We haven't found our next captain yet. Hopefully some of the young guys like Buvaneshwar Kumar or someone step it up Pujara is too prone to injuries otherwise he would make an ideal test captain :WTF:
saket123 Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Why is anyone even talking about the next captain? It's not like Dhoni is severely under performing, or that he approaching 40s... Like it or not, Dhoni will be the captain in all formats for the foreseeable future... unless he voluntarily gives it up. In the meantime, they can experiment with others as captains when Dhoni is vacationing.. (like how they did with Raina in Zimbabwe and we lost the series). there is absolutely no need for a new captain at this moment.... and to repeat myself Rohit Sharma is a joke... A thread dedicated to his captaincy potential in ICF is giving him a lot more credit than he deserves.

He might as well lose his backing at the top.

India has been in transition state for the last year or so. So they won't put pressure on some youngster by giving captaincy to them.
saket123 Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Kohli is someone India needs to nurture and allow to prosper in the game. He can be the next best thing after Tendulkar with plenty of years ahead of him. Burdening him with captaincy is gonna burn him out too soon. Plus.. Dhoni is perfect for the time being. His achievements and strengths far outweigh some of his idiocy and failures.
Cricketics Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Anyone saw Rohit cursing B.C , fist punching in the air in frustration after Tare misses and it went for four on Pollar'ds bowling. Lol it was funny and crap at the same time.
vvvslaxman Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 :hysterical: what a ridiculous thread. Not that Kohli is good. But this is lol worthy thread. All future captains get exposed in a matter of few matches.
StriKe Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Both are bad choice for captaincy.. Rohit won't select Dinda as a bowler where as Kohli gives him over yesterday
Sidhoni Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 But can Rohit guarantee a place in the Indian team? If he does even then it will be tough to have authority over the team when you are not batting well.
