Our great captain was also involved in fixing Azharruddin. That was a big scandal yet till today, it's uncompleted. And indian fans continued to watch the sport and actually some of have even supported this cheater.

Our great politicians and powerful businessman also have scandals and that's not because they are mentally weak. Over simplification by Dhoni and it was better for him to be quiet. What is required from Dhoni is not his opinion on this, i.e. whether fixing is a good thing or a bad thing. That is pointless. The only useful contribution from Dhoni would be to name more fixes, shed more light on the modus operandi, and provide more evidence. His answer of "when the time comes" is the typical oily Indian politician's way of saying, I don't want to solve anything, nothing good will come out by exposing the full scope of this scandal, I just want this mess to go away, keeping a silly smile on one's face and saying nothing but platitudes for a long time will do that in India.

Well, this is why it's better for Dhoni as Indian captain to be quiet at least while the investigation is ongoing. The idea that weak-minded people was the reason of all this is very absurd.

And define simple? The thing is simple, anything Dhoni does will be critized. He says nothing like earlier, people criticize him. He says little like currently, people criticize him. He says a lot then again people will criticize him. There is no escaping criticism and ideally it's best to keep your month shut in this type of situation.

Keeping mouth shut is not really an option. People expect answers from leaders and whether we like it or not the media does represent the people. Fans can't take a mike and go to a press conference and ask questions.
