Maybe but he's averaging almost twice as much as vijay with a better strike rate as well.

Jaddu can defend and see off the new ball and once he settled attack the spinners and towards the end of the innings he can slog and attack the fast bowlers with new powerful lofted shots. It actually sounds like a good plan. Perfect for him in LO's.

since Vijay and rohit both look out of their league, and with players we have, it shud be: Shrikar, DK, Virat, Raina, MSD, Jaddu, Irfan, Ashwin, Kumar, Ishant, Yadav despite having only five specialist batsmen, jaddu, irfan, ashwin, and kumar are capable batsmen. and it gives us PLENTY of bowling options.

Vijay hasn't shown any class but he's not a hack. How many times has he opened in ODIs recently ? Nohit has tailunt but applies zilch. Sir Jadeja is a total hack against quicks.
