Terrific work by Karthik, Dhoni, Yadav and Ishant. I know its a warmup, but still this gives me a lot of hoe going in to the CT, and SA have also lost their only warmup so we will be having a slight mental advantage. Lets hope we carry this form in the tournament.

but it makes perfect sense solid top order with good finisher in raina at end :(( also dhoni said he will like to see kkd batting up in order (it was in interview after game )

tbh i think he is best where he is. he's scored two centuries at #5, so why tinker with that? even if raina can last 4-5 overs in the beginning to wear out the new ball, it will make things easier for DK and Dhoni.

Dhawan Opener Kohli KKD Raina/Dhoni Raina/Dhoni Sir Jaddu Just move KKD above Raina and hope that KKD can stay there long enough to ensure that Raina is as far away from the new ball. A lot imo will depend on Kohli and KKD. If they can get a 50-70 runs partnership going then IMO the likes of Raina Dhoni and Sir JAddu will cash in in the last 15.

Dhoni certainly the biggest issue, sometimes he is too good to be batting at 6/7 but then he is the best player in that role/number. Better to stick with the tried and tested working formula
