express bowling Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 Such species have never existed in India and chances are they will never be found either. I would be more than happy if we get 3 seamers averaging around 30 and bowling 135+ consistently in tests and lasting 3-4 years together. Sad but true.

He played for last U19 team too but performance was not up to the mark so could not make it to final XI. Cricinfo are wrong. I pointed it out a few days back to them. They have also written Deepak Hooda a medium pacer while he is a spinner too. They can mess these things and this is not the first time. Once they have written Umesh Yadav Left arm orthodox in 2009 when he played his first Duleep trophy match and took 5-fer. I straightaway doubted it and started searching about him and found he is a genuine pacer.

Most bowlers lose pace after shoulder reconstruction surgery.

Zoysa had a weak action so he lacked the pace.

Zoysa had a weak action so he lacked the pace. nah,honestly i am not convinced,he looks pretty innocuous,in the 2nd video the ball bounced after pitching on the rough patch..but i would trade him over unadkat,sangwan anyday.. between whats anwar`s avg speed,be sure and precise.

Cant say. Never seen him bowl on speed guns.
FischerTal Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 26 too old IMO. if he had been 23-24, he still would have some time to increase his pace, but I dont think he will make it at this age.
