Sarita and Devender Yadav, 32, married in 2005 and fought often, according to neighbours. “At times, it got physical. Most of us were upset when they took those children away from the Indian parents but when something like this happens....you realize the great service they are doing.

Sometimes the women are mentally sick but I think most times it is either 1) To hurt the partner .There is nothing worse than seeing your child getting hurt . This is the sick revenge of these monster mothers. or 2)In the misguided belief that no one other than the mother can take care of the children after she is gone. Indian society gives far too much importance to the role of the mother in a child's life.A mother is a very important figure but no mother is way better than a psychopathic, abusive mother.Some women think that they are the most important and the only person who can look after the children .These poor children would have had a fairly good life with their extended family who lived below their house. What a horrible way to die...RIP poor children.:(( Hope the mother goes to hell.

Father kills two daughters, kills himself CHENNAI: A 38-year-old man poisoned his two daughters to death before committing suicide by hanging at his house in Choolai on Thursday night, police said. Police suspect a quarrel between him and his wife Malarvizhi as the reason for this extreme step. Parthiban, a hair stylist, had left his wife at her mother's place in Korattur and come back home with his daughters. Parthiban, who was working in his brother's salon, was dejected that he didn't have enough money to start a salon of his own, an investigating officer said. Parthiban went to bring his wife on Wednesday night, but ended up quarreling with her over setting up a shop. Parthiban came home with his daughters, Pavithra (6) and Sandhya (3) and fed them food laced with poison. After the children fell unconscious, Parthiban strangulated them and hanged himself. The incident came to light on Thursday night when Parthiban's mother, Chandra came home. Police broke open the doors and moved the bodies to the Government General Hospital for postmortem examination. coffee_rules Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 It happens in all countries where child services are very well established. Kids getting shot , maimed, etc has happened in numerous cases in USA. They just happen to be born to the wrong parents. Too bad. They catch the fringe cases and fail to protect the genuine cases.
Muloghonto Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Its not gender specific, both fathers and mothers do the 'kill the children and then comit suicide' thing. Psychologically, there are several motives for this: 1. delusional is the leading cause actually (where you hallucinate stuff that tells you to kill your kids, where one is so deulsionally hateful, they believe that they are doing a favor to these kids by killing them, because they would be worse off with their hated partner, etc). 2. Spite- one last act of vengeance against the hated partner. Whats worse than comming home and finding your wife/hubby had commited suicide ? To find out that wife/hubby also slit the throat of your kid before committing suicide.
