G_B_ Posted June 6, 2013 Author Posted June 6, 2013 yeah with Sir Jaddu bowling so well and Raina not bad either today me thinks Dhoni will aim to bowl 25 overs of spin on similar wickets. 10 jaddu 10 ashwin and 5 raina. If anything Raina is giving Dhoni some crucial room for rotation. If i was Raina i would concentrate a bit extra with the ball in the nets. Given his bouncophobia it might be his contributions with the ball which makes him useful.

The new Kookaboora balls used in this tournament are not swinging too much. bhuvi barely got a 1-2 overs of some swing. Pathan would be a good bet if the ball was swinging up front. Vinay is just that bit quicker through the air and IMO is a much better bowling option at the moment.
Pagalpanti Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I'd go with Mishy. Clearly this 4 fielders outside circle rule is proving to be a disaster for pacers in death overs. I think with these long grounds hitting spinners might be tougher.

Our batsmen would struggle to put up a good score and we would need to take wickets with the new ball. Lambu will be a total waste since he'll be happy bowling wide and the batsman will be glad to see off the new ball.
