Lots of overthrows, misfields.Hope we don't make those mistakes this time around. Also we leaked lot of runs to their tail. We were nervous while batting. That Viru's immediate request for UDRS review was epic :fail: .

Fielding of that side was absolute club side. Even Yuvi had issues with fielding. Munaf, Sreesanth, Bhajji. Even Gambhir, Viru were barely decent.

I was in the privacy of my new apartment, all by myself in the wee hours of the night, enjoying the match to bits. My cousin called after the first two wickets and teased me about India losing. I calmly told him that I bet my first paycheck (had just joined my new job) that this is India's world cup. :isalute:

After the SF, you were pummeled, humiliated and kicked out of the WC. You had to have some statement to support and hang on to that insult.

After getting bundled out for 184 runs by Canada :hehe:

Old guy Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 it is all in hindsight anyway' date='there is no question sachin played great leading up the semifinal including a good knock against the aussies.[/quote'] sehwag to me was always going to fail..but sachin nope he was by far our best batsman.. dhoni was real passenger until then and he came good...luckily :D also the bowling i was so pissed at selection of sreesanth:giggle: its just that i just do not get how u called him passenger ..i just dont and im preety sure most people here would disagree with you .. dont look it from future to past but look at when it happened.. he jsut played match winning inning vs australia and pakistan (though with some help of bad fielding but that was cos of good bowling not naything else ) he looked in form of his life his inning vs australia and south africa were breath taking . and that inning in tied match vs england ..i just cannot see how u can call best batsman of tournament a passenger .. big mistake you are making is trying to connect his recent failures with failure in final.. from stats it does look like his last total in control inning was vs australia but that does not mean he lost form all of sudden i n world cup he was the best batsman in world back then.. after world cup there has been steep decline and now he does not even deserves to be in team imo ..
