FischerTal Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 ^ well my mom knows this social worker, who is about to retire. She is around 60 years old but now I found out around two years ago, these two girls lost their mother to cancer and 3 months later, they were involved in car accident with their father, and luckily they survived, but their father, unfortunately didnt. Both girls didnt have any other family, so the social worker made sure both girls, who were in their early teens got adopted into good families. Now, the older sister turned 18 and she has decided to stay with the social worker, while going to community college. She has decided to do charity work herself for young children without parents. Mom told me this story yesterday when I asked her who she was talking to on the phone about donating money. It turns out Mom has been donating money towards this girl for some time and I didnt even know about it. It just made me feel good inside. :nice:
