Sean Bradley Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Can (a fully fit) Yuvi make a comeback into the team ? This ODI line up will be a very formidable force with Yuvi back, also gives us an extra spinner, a good fielder, and the great batting power of yuvi at number 4 :omg:.
namasteji1 Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Nope, he will retire soon. Has nothing left to give to the team. Since his comeback hasn't done anything and is a donkey in the field now. He kept saying he doesn't need knee surgery despite having problems with it.
G_B_ Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 the answer is yes. I dont think even rohit has sealed his position permanently as an opener. I also have major doubts about Raina outside the sub.
StriKe Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 If UV is full fit and in form can easily replace Raina..
King Tendulkar Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 The fully fit is the problem. To me seems like may never recover his fitness to fit in to this energised team. Gambhir has more realistic chance of come back
Sean Bradley Posted June 24, 2013 Author Posted June 24, 2013 If UV is full fit and in form can easily replace Raina.. I think it would be a shoot out between Yuvi, Raina & Dk.
namasteji1 Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Can you even compare the fielding of Yuvraj and Raina. Raina is a world class fielder while Yuvraj is a liability in the field now.
NareshK Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 He has to work a lot on his fitness. He struggled with the bat in ODI series against England and Pak. His bowling has also gotten worse and he seemed to struggle against teams which are decent players of spin.
G_B_ Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 he needs to lose about 15kg looking at him. I thought Yuvi's fielding despite the weight was good. Not as good as raina in the field at the moment but good. not a liability. I think more than Yuvi coming back. its a case of does DK for eg seal his place?
Lord Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 he can but not anytime soon he needs to be fit only, once hes fit,he'll still walk in the side

zakk Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 yes plz want to see him back in team. he will add more power to team :nice:
King Tendulkar Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Its all down to yuvraj Does he have their fire , determination and dicipline? Needs to work hard, be proffessional. i.e eat the right food, excerise etc GET FIT YUVI AND YOU CAN BE BACK. But his weight is always going up and down
Sidhoni Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 No doubt he will return with a bang if he reaches full fitness.

velu Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 i dont see DK Bose cementing his place for a long time and same goes with Nohit.. gambo and UV ll be back sooner than later
CoverDrive Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 more than fitness worrying part in this IPL was he was losing timing and power. shots that he would hit for six would fall limply in the circle. it would be good if he can make comeback but looks tough
King Tendulkar Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 But even if he does get fit and slim. And then gets back in team and does well. I then dont want to see him then go in comfort zone were his weight goes up again in exact proportion to he well he is doing. Yuvraj is a case of better he is doing, the more lazy he become sand more he becomes unfit. Then the cycle starts again were he gets fat, gets dropped, looses weight again and then fights back in. Older you are, the harder you need to work, especially in fitness. As staying fit and trim gets harder and harder
