rkt.india Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Now we know why Zol said this is a balanced side. Not even played their best bowler and still beat the hell out of Aussies , Stuart law using the IPL excuse to defend his team, "their guys have experience of IPL" . Good to see some all rounders in the team. Gaani Hooda Saif are the spin bowling all rounders. Arothe is the seam bowling all rounder, do know about lamba or milind's batting skills. Just really good to have all rounders in the team, gives so much more confidence. Who other than Samson has played IPL?
rkt.india Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Zol has not even played in the IPL how is that even a legitimate excuse? In the case of Zol, he has matured a lot over the past year or so. I think he is the senior most member in the side. Conditions are more like subcontinental in Hobart.
nsareen Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 India U19 has 3 New Zealand wickets, tight bowling here. Arothe and Bains not playing today so Samson will keep wickets.

nsareen Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Over 1.6: Lamba to Seifert, no run, leaves to the wicketkeeper outside off, fast down off, maiden over. NZL 0/4 (Seifert 1, Weerasundara 3) Over 3.2: Lamba to Weerasundara, no run, free hit, god Yorker, dug back to the bowler Over 7.5: Lamba to Weerasundara, one run, edge, tough chance missed by the keeper Over 9.2: Lamba to Seifert, no run, OUT, plays inside this and off stump tumbles Some of lamba's bowling.
jalebi_bhai Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Over 1.6: Lamba to Seifert, no run, leaves to the wicketkeeper outside off, fast down off, maiden over. Is this the final match of this tournament??
cowboysfan Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 are these guys really this good or do they have more experience?
Manny_Pacquiao Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 are these guys really this good or do they have more experience? india is ridiculously good at u19 level. they have the best talent in the world, by far...just look at their record: http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?class=21;template=results;type=team the gap evaporates at professional level because india's FC game isnt of the same standard as england's or australia's.
jj_28 Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Is our bowling department really as good as the figures are making them out to be? Kuldeep Yadav is really the star of the tournament and a player that I would love to know more about 1st match PNG bowled out for 65 Kuldeep Yadav got 4 and only conceded 13 runs, worst economy rate of 2.62 http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/current/match/637458.html 2nd match Australia bowled out for 174 Kuldeep Yadav against got 3 and conceded only 19 runs http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/637452.html 3rd match NZ bowled out for 111 Kuldeep again with 3 for 22 http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/637453.html 5th match Australia bowled out for 191 Kuldeep Rested but Gani took 3 for 25 http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/637455.html 6th match NZ (in progress) Over 43.6: Yadav to Jamieson, no run, goes back and defends to leg ending a fine spell, 1/13 off his 10.
nsareen Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 NZ are trying to bounce India out here but with little success. The Indian domination continues. NZ trying to bowl short but Indians playing them well.
nsareen Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Is this the final match of this tournament?? No , but the result will decide who will play India in the finals.
nsareen Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 are these guys really this good or do they have more experience? I think spinners have taken a toll on the NZ and Aussies, our pace bowlers have bowled well but all the wickets have gone to the spinners. That's one big difference
rkt.india Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Over 0.1: Singh to Weerasundara, three runs, right arm medium, keeper standing up, 2 slips, strokes this through cover, lovely shot From commentary excerpts, it looks like Atul Singh is just a medium pacer with no real skills. While Abhimanyu Lamba looks a proper quick bowler. Over 1.1: Lamba to Seifert, no run, right arm fast, orthodox field, across and blocks this to leg
rkt.india Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 5th Over Another comprehensive win then for India. They demolished New Zealand on a spin friendly wicket. Over 24.1: KBB Watson to Zol, FOUR, new bowler, right arm fast, late cut flies past slip to end the match
carnish Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Zol looks to be in terrific form ... Expecting him to win the WC for India in UAE.
carnish Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 India beat Nzl by 7 wkts ... What team will we play the finals against??
Lord Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/637456.html B->
SLICKR392 Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Lamba and Kuldeep brilliant yet again. Boy! We are dominating this tourney. :hatsoff:
saneindian Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Our bowling looks relentless, each of them doing well and picking wickets. Zol as usual doing what Chand used to do for the last u-19 side. Samson surprisingly hasn't scored too many runs. Looked classy in IPL
superstar Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Ind-Aus finals Why are we playing on spin tracks in Australia :nervous:
