Yeah mumbai for all its nonsense grants u ur primal right of freedom and anonymity. I guess we all know this but sometimes if u r too close to it tend not to account for it and having others as a sounding board brings out a few things more in the open hmmmm. True, but that is one aspect. In many other things like education, roads, traffic, cost of real estate, food Delhi is clearly better than Bombay. It comes down a lot to individual's priorities and for many sacrificing individual freedom might not be enough to overcome the other advantages in Delhi. Besides a lot of people have family there or nearby and might not choose to move because of that.

But I guess you knew that already.

But I guess you knew that already.[/quote'] May be for science/Technology-I dont have numbers or neither do I know Delhi that well but as far as Commerce and management studies go,Mumbai is ahead of Delhi. But again for Science/Technology SOuth is obviously a leader there ,where as Mumbai holds it's own in terms of Commerce and Management

I cannot measure their efficiencies in depth .From what I can see being on this site long enough is that the field of education is right up your alley,so can't argue much there but from my perspective Delhi is definetely not a runaway winner in terms of education.

Raghav_12 Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Delhi is only place which can be called a city in India. Rest all are pretenders, including Mumbai. Forget Delhi, even many other cities would be rated ahead of Mumbai, a crowded mass.
randomGuy Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 I am a Delhi resident, but I really wish there be many Indian cities better than Delhi including Mumbai(if its not already). In here, the roads, buses and metro service is pretty good, I find people slightly more helpful here than most cities I've been to, weather sucks from May to August and in January, city in unsafe compared to other cities I've been to, the city is cleaner than most cities but not clean enough on the global level, the food here is quite good and cheap, cost of living is also quite cheap. But there can be many major improvements.
