Exit polls being telecast before the polls end in Delhi.. Is it legal? BTW,nearly 74% turnout in Delhi :hatsoff:
66% ..around 4-5 months back we all thought AAP would not get more than 4-5 seats but exit polls and the general mood of the people have reflected a strong performance by them getting 15+ seats!! they will sweep the central delhi and will get capture few seats in west, east delhi

why is voter turnout less in delhi 67 perc compared to other states. They are saying this is the highest in recent times but still.
people prefer to sit at home or go out for entertainment but not go for voting..turnout have always been less in delhi with highest being 64% in 1993,this time there has been a massive increase in the turnout from paltry 58%in 2008 to 66 yesterday ,thats a good sign.. regarding the results ,bjp will get 130+ in rajasthan,140+ in MP, chattisgarh will be close but bjp might get to 45..delhi is a jigsaw puzzle, bjp will defo get 30+ and congress less than 24 but will bjp get 35 and can AAP get to 20? its anybody's guess

Mizoram - Hung assembly predicted

In fact, of the many exit polls conducted by research agencies for television channels, only one had figures for this north-eastern state. In a poll done for India TV, CVoter predicted a hung Assembly in the state with Congress being reduced to just 19 seats in the 40-member House. This is down 13 seats from its 2008 tally. On why no channel bothered to cover Mizoram, CVoter managing director Yashwant Deshmukh said: "No media channel commissions poll surveys for the north east. We did the Mizoram poll with our own money as we feel it irresponsible to ignore one state. We have been conducting polls in the region for a couple of years now." Deshmukh said they had 80 researchers on the ground, covering 3311 respondents in all the 40 segments.

BJP won't win Delhi. Others I agree
I think BJP will win an outright majority and if not that, then it certainly will be very close and will form the Govt. with the help of independents (or maybe, just maybe even with the support of AAP).
It is truly impressive what AAP have achieved. But one does wonder if people are being naive here. It is one thing to ride a wave of honesty. But then do they have the adminsitrative talent. In fact, some of their positions are naive to say the least.
completely agree. Till now their entire campaign seemed to be as being focused on being honest. Thats it. They don't seem to have any plans for what/how they would achieve their goals and how they would develop Delhi if they come to power and some of the plans they do have seem naive at best and wild fantasies at worst.

Doubt that they will get outright majority in Delhi. Maybe with a few MPs from AAP, they can make the government.
