God Forbid, but the day you will lose somebody in Mumbai attacks or at the LOC, I will then like you to invite the Pakistanis in your home. and to your point on why against cricketers. because it is played in the open with a lot of media attention. you would not know when a musician or an actor performed and went back. neither will terrorists gain anything by attacking an individual
I have sympathy again to all those who died. Again, I don't just have sympathies to those who died in 26/11 but also to the ones who died before and after that. But what's your point here. Why do we leave only cricket players aside? Whats up with allowing singers, actors etc in India and not cricketers. Just answer those basic questions. How will not allowing cricketers pay respect or give shaanti to aatmas of those who died? We didn't play against pakistan at home after Kargil much. Infact we didn't even play much to them unti l2003 world cup match. How did our relationship improved with Pakistan that time? Don't just keep coming out with 26/11 thing. They are two different things. For the respect to those who died, it's better not to mix them with sports like Cricket.

I told you cricket is a big event. singer or actor coming to perform in some confined room is not. Easy targets. We played in 2003 WC as it wasnt bilateral. It was a multi country tourney and not playing could have hurt our chances in the event. Two different things done by the same entity. I pity you.You are trying to be friends and accommodating to somebody who killed your brother father mother sister. Relations are built on trust and sense that they will not harm you in the future. We are talking to the wrong guys in Pakistan. Its the Army which rules there. And lets end it here. You are on the the other side of the river.

This is not a correct perspective to have. Till they take pride in keeping the kashmir issue and jihadi terrorism alive. They themselves claim that normalization of relations can't happen till Kashmir is solved. why should they complain about supposed Indian high-handedness? waise most-probably visa mil jaega but unke foreign minister to request karna pada, so nice job by India..

Looks like they will be given the visas today.

In what seems to be a remarkable turnaround of events, CNN-IBN has learnt that Pakistan's T20 champions Faisalabad Wolves are all set to travel India to play in the Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20) tournament. Sources have told CNN-IBN that they will be given their visas anytime on Friday to enable them to be in Mohali for their qualifying matches. This comes at the backdrop of an informal meeting of the two foreign ministers on Thursday. Sources have told CNN-IBN that last-minute hectic lobbying by BCCI and intervention by the Indian government paved the way for the visas to be cleared. CNN-IBN has learnt that the Indian High Commission in Lahore was informed late on Thursday evening to hand over the visas on Friday. Sources had earlier indicated to CNN-IBN on Thursday that it would not be possible to provide necessary security arrangements. However, it has now emerged that the security arrangements have been re-assessed after intense BCCI lobbying.

as i said zero consistency. On twitter a pakistani journalist has said that BCCI will invite pak and sl for a tri series. India just cant seem to make its mind up about anything

Indian fans who, till few hrs ago, were justifying their govt/board how the decision for not granting visas to Pakistani players is perfectly right, will now suddenly get to defend why granting visas should not be a concern and who knows we get another 180 degree news in last minute and indian fans back at square one.

BCCI and GOI likes to troll with Pakistanis. :hysterical: All this will create more publicity and increase viewership for Champions League which is actually a flop tournament if you go by stadium attendance.

Dont whine about the fans in general there are fans who doesn care about the people who lost their life and wont mind about the ones who may lose their life by pakistanis' date=' at the same time there are fans who doesn want any ties with your country[/quote'] Your govt most of the times will just 'play' it politically more than anything else so will remain a problem for you, yes, fans in general; ones who 'don't care' as well as the ones who don't want any cricketing relation with Pakistan as long as you will keep every bilateral issue connected with cricket, that too ironically most of the times with Cricket ONLY...
