Current Indian bowling line up needs a left arm seamer We had great success with the trio of Zaheer-Nehra-Irfan during those few years. Even on these desi dlf highways, we could get break throughs or manage to save some games for teams using them. There was sort of variety in the bowling line up. Then came RP Singh and he took over Pathan's slot and formed a formidable attack. He was good for a while. I think according to our standards of bowling, we need to have atleast 1 or 2 left arm seamers in the attack. They would come in handy. All Indian current bowlers even the ones waiting to come are one dimensional, exception of Bhuvneshwar. Having a left arm seamer can benefit us and will give variety to Dhoni to use. Oppositions mind changes when he see a different kind of bowler introduced.

Unadkat.... for **** sake he is in the squad and had a good tour of Zim. Nobody is expecting him to take 5 wickets or something. But if he can concede less than 70 runs in 10 overs and pick up a wicket or two thats a big improvement. You raise another valid point and why the Dhoni-Fletcher combo has sucked. Vinny Bhuvi and Ishant all right handed bowlers and all bowling in the same pace bracket. 128-133.
