Well I think there was always Saudi ( gulf ) influence in Kerala but limited. Not unexpected given the nature of things and Gulf money. Indian Union Muslim league ( which firstly must decide whether it wants to remain part if Union or not ), has gathered great momentum and support in last 5-6 years. Chopping of hands of the teacher really got great deal of attention. I have noticed armed police searching some vehicles and asking for papers near the NH47 toll plaza in the kerela-TN border near coimbatore. They are writing down all the vehicle numbers that are passing through. This is not happening in Hosur toll plaza or anywhere else.

Does shiv sena have any presence in its own state ? Oh and btw everyone will have their own definition of vibrant India ? I m not overtly emphasising on terrorism. My concern is radicalism and intolerance. Has it increased or hasn't it ? My assessment is it has in Kerala.

They are nationalists not fascists. And shiv sena isnt even a national party,its a regional party.
