He doesn't look at all convincing.. you have your limitations dude.keep learning . its not easy to be a world class matchwinner.it requires talent and years of experience and refinement. a world class matchwinner is usually an established player who went through a process. did dhawan look a matchwinner in 2010? when he was called to the side, ppl were ridiculing him. he only became a international matchwiner after years of struggle and plenty of incremental improvements . you look at baba or vihari now...do they remotely look like matchwinners in the short forms? player improve level by level.say a player is at a level 7 .if he has to go to level 8, he may need to accumalate skills and knowledge for 1.5-2.5 years. its like a step function.that's how they improve ...its not open sesame close sesame. only if it were so easy to be a world class matchwinner.

You wanna give him more chances? then play him in the domestic matches. He hasn't shown me one substantial innings to make me believe that in a crucial game in the WC overseas, he would come through. He's fragile under pressure and since our batting is so good, it's masking his failures.

His position is very critical and he will need to come up with these knocks especially if the top order fails and I don't know if he will be able to do that. Can make the team as a bowler in his own right anyway. Our best odi bowler in last year. Our best fielder. And very very handy bat to have at 7 or 8. All over well worth a place in odi team

Has to come in for yuvraj Rahane is also gun fielder as we saw He may even be a good option to open in odis ahead of rohit But I would slot him straight in at 4 for now

If i were Rohit Sharma i would hook up with Rahane and Amre in Mumbai and get him as a joint batting coach or something.
