FischerTal Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 ^Don't make fun of Laloo Anyone who can live and survive in New Jersey have my respect :agree: i lived in jersey but got out of there
saneindian Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 By scheduling the WI series, the BCCI has practically shot the test squad. At most we will plaa a solitary 2 day warm up and get into the test matches. The entire fracas may also mean SA preparing the greenest of tracks for 2/3 tests as scheduled. Should be lot of fun. We would do well to take test matches to day 5.

Green tracks usually screw S.A more than visiting teams.....hell even S.L managed to win a game...A Half-decent Semi Patta will help S.A more as they can pile up runs against weaker bowling and then put pressure with their bowling strength is what works for them.

That was at Durban on a dry pitch with Herath picking lots of wickets.
rajmarie Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Dalmiya is just saying that the tour to SA is on. But I didnt saw what amout of matches are there. IMO..it will be 2 test & 3 ODI. But hoping for atleast 3 test.
Old guy Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 That was at Durban on a dry pitch with Herath picking lots of wickets. yep but what he said is true that its green pitches where game can be lottery with 15 wickets falling per day where south africa normally lose matches other wise that batting line up will draw games easily if they cant win just like they did in australia

GolGappe Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 BCCI tried to destroy this mans career ... Lorgat should tell Dalmiya to go p1ss off. Easier said than done. His board will lose 300 million rands if India pulls out. BCCI is a very difficult body to deal with but Haroon's ultra-confrontational attitude towards BCCI as an ICC-head didn't help the cause either. The Ashes series has shown that some of the BCCI's concerns regarding DRS were genuine. Indian cricket is the financial lifeline of the international cricket and unfortunately Indian cricket is owned by BCCI.
