Temujin Khaghan Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 they should import saeed ajmal to south africa. they can tempt him with promise of food and shelter.
vvvslaxman Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 they should import saeed ajmal to south africa. they can tempt him with promise of food and shelter. It is not the ability that hold them back from winning. It is the killer instinct and mental toughness that is required to go extra distance to win a match. Not talking about this match. India completely outplayed them in the second half. Talking about gazillion world events where they were running as favorites. When Pakistan beat them in England, pakistan was led by Younis Khan lol. SA pummelled them in the warm up game. But in the real game they all caught cold feet and lost their way.
SLICKR392 Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Shami has been shyte in the death, but I would totally have him over Mohit.

div Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Shami has poor record against SL,he generally struggles against left handers.
rkt.india Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Let us not cruciify him for one match. For christsake he won 2 matches with his bowling. Back him. Just use him as an attacking option. Mishra is not a bowler who depends on batsmen going after him to earn a wicket. If anything that is his crisis area. He is more dangerous when batsmen are trying to build a partnership. No, most of his wickets come when batsmen are trying to attack him and he beats them in flight and turn. Yesterday he could not find right length, either too short or too full. Faf played him easily on the back foot.

In panic he loses everything. why do you think he could not land. He panicked. Batsmen were after him.

But that is when he takes wickets too. In most of the previous game, he controlled his lengths well when batsmen attacked. Problem yesterday was that there was not much turn available from the stumps and it was slow, batsmen played him off the back foot rather than going down the track.
jalebi_bhai Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Depends what he'll be smoking that day.........
jalebi_bhai Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I honestly think it's reached a stage where the players expect themselves to choke........
Sir john Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Aaron Phangiso-Saffers missied a trick by not playing him :haha::haha::haha::haha: http://www.espncricinfo.com/world-t20/content/player/46942.html
Zestian Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I dont think so... With three Lefties in our side, Kohli and Rahane can play sla's nicely, so Aaron Phangiso was of no use there...
saneindian Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 So a bowler picking wickets when batsmen try to attack him is a bad thing or what? Nearly all his wickets were when he beat the batsmen in flight getting them stumped or forcing a wrong shot. Would put that down to great skills than batsmen trying to slog.
Zestian Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 in whole tournament. Yes that they could have done... They relied too much on Immy with spin... :headshake:
Iconoclast Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 If you think he's gonna step down you must be high B-)
