In an ODI game, I would say India are favorites but this is T20 where 1 or 2 players can change the match in a few overs. Hope to see a good contest and want to see India bring their A game.

Was he picked in the playing XI just to bowl 2 overs ? Mohit can't bowl at the death. Not preferred during the middle overs since the pitches are spin friendly. So ultimately he just bowls couple of overs maximum at the start. Not a great fielder, no batting powers. Funny why he was preferred over Shami. If Raina and Youvraj can bowl 2 overs each, we can go for an extra batsman in place of Mohit.

Problem for them is they have no bowler to control Raina and malinga is not same against Kohli and dhoni so they have to bat well to win and set big target And if they chase chances are they will be chasing beyond 160 -170 and no team other than India has even crossed 100 while chasing in second part of tournament :cantstop: Their spinners are good but mendis is bust against India and hearth has been dealt with before .. This is problem with Sri Lanka their ace players and strength which help them bully others just do not work on India maybe because they have played too many matches ? I do not know but this batting line up can easily deal which anything they throw only openers are suspect :cantstop:

Their batsmen even played Indian spinners very well, best effort among all teams that played against India. They used their feet against spinners, rotated strike brilliantly, put the bad ball away and put pressure on all the bowlers unlike other teams which struggled.

South Africa looking good in the touranment approaching the playoffs and then hit by a masterclass innings of Brian Lara which provides them the knock out punch. Similar happend here. Get real fool, this ODI side has looked and played better than another previous Indian side, despite having one of the most appalling bowling units.

Who picks the bowling unit? Captain corrupt! We have fast bowlers but picks Ishants, Oap Zak, Vinny, Mohit. But of course this is nothing to do with dhoni, he is innocent bystander And dont get me started on part timers obssession
