We were discussing ODIs. He's appalling in tests, especially when we are on the backfoot. Fully agree. Also I dont agree with the theory that our reserve bowling unit is filled with match-winners. But yes they cant do worse than the present brigade.

There was some element of choke yesterday, not the typical SA choke though - Steyn decided to have one of his worst days as a T20 bowler in a must win match. These are not mere coincidences for those who have watched SA in knockout matches since the early 90s. They always find a way to lose regardless of where the match is played, or whom they are playing against.

The reason he doesn't have a 50 is because due to India's strong batting he hardly gets to bat. Will be same case here. If he gets to bat, it will be late in the innings.

SA was just outplayed by a better team and certainly didnt choke. Their batsmen even played Indian spinners very well' date=' best effort among all teams that played against India. Shami is a wicket-taker unlike Mohit. Also, didn't see Mohit moving the ball off the pitch in both games like he does in the IPL.
