putrevus Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 he did say he was going to retire in one format last year to keep us silent frankly speaking he is more worried about losing his captaincy in other formats Samething happened with sachin too , he just was waiting for his 100th ton , there was no reason for him to continue after 2011 finals ,there was no way he was going to play in 2015 cup so what was poinnt in playing odis other than blocking some young guy. Now team is reaping the consequences. now Zaheer khan these guys are too old to play in all three formats and they all can & should play ipl as long as possible to earn money but give youngsters a chance in t20 and odis. Kapil dev did it for that meaningless 432 when it was painfully obivious he was done and he denied srinath chances by doing so. These guys should learn from sunny .
jonas10 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 The same prediction failed the last 8 times. :phehehe: LOL @ their euphoria beating India that didnt have Dhoni Yuvraj and Raina.
darkshubhpatil Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Comeon india lets do what what we are best at beating poakistanis to a pulp
Midfielder Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 What would it take for India to beat Pakistan My observations: (1) Batting Rohit Dhawan Kohli Raina Rohit Dhoni I think India has a good line up but Pakistan is not bad either. It is a draw in this category. (2) Bowling Bhuvi Shami jadeja Misra The fifth bowler is troubling. Should be a pace bowler which I don't know. This is a unknown. Overall with fifth bowler slot unknown it is also a draw in this category. (3) Pitch Once again it is a wash as both will be equally exposed. (4) Fielding This in my mind is what is going to decide the game. India is slightly better but slightly only. It is coming down to whoever holds their nerves batter is going to win. They have experience but India is also about the same. I think in the end India wins with 4 balls to spare.
bulbul Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 OP,plz dont tell match is phiksed after pak lose :nervous:
Zero_Unit Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Aww darn, he is one of my fav players. GL on wtv you want to do later on. Oh wait he still got test + odi to play lol
jonas10 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 All India has to do is show up in a WC match against Pakistan and their genetics kick in and they lose.
Midfielder Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 All India has to do is show up in a WC match against Pakistan and their genetics kick in and they lose. I hope you are right. It seems because of their political and religious reasons they are under more pressure and lose the game even when they had better teams. Like I said who ever holds their nerves is going to win.
Number Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Will be very tough. Pakistan is one of the best T20 teams and India is one of worsts.
Cricket_Hacker Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 how is india one of the worst t20 teams?we won 4 out of 5 games in WC,then pak series 1-1 then won against australia
game_changerr Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Pakistan bowling (esp spinners)is too strong ....its difficult for any team (in transition)to beat them
jf1gp_1 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 the problem is pak batsman are blind sloggers; with ropes pulled the way they were for asia cup even the mishits which ideally should be comfortable catches in deep will go for 6 (example 2 afridi 6s during asia cup had fileders under them but ropes were pulled atleast 20ft or so in) so its an even contest
rkt.india Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Will be very tough. Pakistan is one of the best T20 teams and India is one of worsts. India is #2 in rankings, Pak #3.
rkt.india Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Yesterday's pitch in match between Nepal and HK was pretty good. No help for spinners, green live grass and some bounce and seam movement. First time saw such type of a pitch in BD. It was in Chittagong but I think we will play at Mirpur, spinners paradise. We will see a lot of low scoring games there.
SLICKR392 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Will be very tough. Pakistan is one of the best T20 teams and India is one of worsts. We rarely play T20I. And AFAIK, they have only beat us once in T20s.
