GautiMaan Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Next time before you sign anything of this sort, ask for a copy of the document and get it verified by a lawyer,it wont cost you much and you will know exactly what you are geting yourself into.
EnterTheVoid Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 That six month probationary period is to weed out those candidates who do well in the interviews but don't fit in for whatever reasons. It is in your and their best interests to part ways now rather than further down the line when they have invested much more money/resources into you. You got your first pay check for doing very little work - sitting through some boring introductory and training sessions. If I were you, I would use that pay check to book a ticket to Goa asap. Easiest holiday money you will ever earn in your career.
SLICKR392 Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Mailed them the letter at 12PM. Got a call now from the HR asking if I am sure of them dropping me from the batch or not. Said yes, and that pretty much was it. Probably got a new recruit as the new training batch starts from tomorrow. Although, they din't sound very pleasant. Never going back again.
Crookbond Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Okay. Thanks. I'll give them the letter like that one which Sree posted on Monday. I was just worried about the legal stuff in case I break that bond. A bond can never be one-sided. Even if you sign a bond, it wouldn't hold up in court if it gave no assurance about IBM not firing you. Suck it up and stop being a pussy. Please visit your nearest doctor.
Detonator Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Pussy? I don't wanna screw my classes for a stupid job. STFU if you have nothing say. Please visit your nearest doctor. Doctor thinks that the post is not meant to be offensive. It's a sarcastic expression. In layman term, it's another way of saying "grow some balls".

Detonator Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 ^^ If you're actually pissed off because of a sarcastic expression, then you need to grow some balls. :giggle: j/k

His answer was they aren't gonna spend or waste their time on 1 guy and especially if he is a fresher, like I am. Might threaten, but that's all they might be able to achieve. Anyhow, its First Source. I had no opening in IBM. :winky:
G_B_ Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 its bit of a metaphor and not sarcasm. (which depends on tone) I can say "i really loved that" in a sarcastic tone. Reminds me of the south park episode Sarcastaball.
