"The explosion occurred at an isolated place on platform number 10. It was a crude bomb and one person has been injured," SSP Manu Maharaj told reporters here. He is being questioned. 12:49 pm: Union Home Ministry will send a team of seven-member team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) and National Security Guards (NSG) officials to investigate multiple bomb blasts in Patna. Three low intensity blasts rocked Patna on Sunday just a few hours before Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's Hunkar rally at Gandhi Maidan. One person has died and 20 others have been injured in the blasts. The first blast took place at the Patna railway station on Sunday and the second blast took place near the Eliphiston movie theatre in the city. another blast took place near Gandhi Maidan. As per police sources a time bomb was used for the first blast. The explosion took place at a toilet outside the platform. The Ministry of Home affairs has said that they are in touch with the state government and have sought a detailed report from them. Meanwhile, according to MHA sources, two crude bombs were placed out of which one exploded. The blast took place around 9.15 am on Sunday. Senior officials say that the situation has been brought under control. This blast is being seen as a major security lapse as it comes ahead of Narendra Modi's Hunkar rally at Gandhi Maidan. src IBNLIVE
