Cant understand team selection.... Ishant fatwin selected 4 openers mooli dhawan rahane sharma 3 spinners ojha mishra ashwin wtf maan!!! cant c a no 6 batsman if dhobi bat at 7.....need a lower middle order bat....is there such a big no.6 dearth that u r planning one of the openers to bat down at 6???
Why should Ashwin be dropped from the Test? I am not a fan either but he was pretty good in the Aus series.

convenient excuse to drop Jaddu,if hes really injured, theres no point playing this ODI series too. I was looking forward to how he does with th bat v WI Expected Ishant to stay.Wont be surprised if he makes the XI ahead of BK too.

Since when Rohit and Rahane are openers in 4-5 day games? Was SRT a test openers just because he opened in ODIs or even Ganguly.
since when nohit rahane bat at 6/7 in 4-5 day games? . Dont compare these with legends ganguly n SRT who always had the temperament to understand the difference between tests n odis n understood their roles in the squad.... N by no. 6 i mean agenuine no.6 with loads of experience at it....the temperament and that resistance from giving up....bat through for long hours after a top order collapse....more responsible shoulders who coukd lead to respectable totals in situation of crises

Bowling 10 overs vs 40+ over 5 days. Many bowlers have done that in the past played ODIs and then being rested from tests which follow. In any case why would they drop him?

Ashwin has been good in the tests. Should he be dropped from the ODIs? Well probably looking at how Mishra performed probably no based on this series. But he has been poor. The T20s? most certainly yes. He has a **** record there.

Why would they risk aggravating his injury? Also hes been fielding in the outfield where you reguarly need to throw the ball hard Maybe they want Mishra for variety.

Ashwin already has 3 MOS awards (against WI, Aus after retirements and NZ batting) in tests out of 5 series he has played. The other 2 were against strong batting lineups and he failed. Although offspinners generally don't do well in Aus the England failiure is his only failiure so far in tests. He will do well against WI, but has a point to prove against SA in SA where he should be fine but lets see.

No one is born with experience. They will get that experience once they play more. Now our experienced players have retired, so it is obvious that new guys will take their places. Even SRT and Ganguly were new and inexperienced once. Rohit mainly batted at 4-5 for Mumbai in Ranji trophy.

I think he got injured yesterday and might not play last ODI.
