vvvslaxman Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Delhi boys do things in the heat of moment. Gauti, Kohli, Dhawan. Viru is the coolest among Delhi boys. He just talks to umpires lol
CG Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I think somebody must have said something to dhawan in the last match when he was injured and limping back. But sledging is diff acting like a joker does not suit him ,even while his 100 celebrations he acted awkardly.

Sean Bradley Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 OK relax now everybody, he is not playing out there to please you or anybody, we have seen worse on cricket field before, adam parore vs guy whittal, Inzaman with the bat amongst spectators, javed miandad jumping like a hore on dik. These things happen in the heat of moment, we all get carried away, SHikhar got a lil carried away, and thats about it.
vvvslaxman Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 He is more controversial off the field. :cantstop: That ordinary side comment left a permanent damage to bangladesh fans psyche :cantstop:

SLICKR392 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 As long as he keeps scoring and scaring the ***t out of the opposition bowlers i don't care what else he does on or off the field :). +1 As Bradley posted, Javed's dumb ass hop and Watto was having a laugh after he hit Dhawan in the stomach region and as said someone from the Australian side might have had a go at him when Dhawan limped off the field in Nagpur.

fineleg Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 They have a defeatist and servitude mentality. Yes NareshK - Dravid, Tendu, Laxman, Kumble, Dhoni all have defeatist mentality because they choose the higher road of not indulging in douche behavior, and instead return more than double riposte with cricket skills? :haha: Right, tell that to the opposition who have played against these high class players :)
Stuge Posted November 3, 2013 Author Posted November 3, 2013 Pathetic thread.. Admin/mod pls delete this idiot thread what is so pathetic about it ?
Trundler27 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I have played college cricket with a guy who was an amazing sledger. He was able to get under the skin of even the coolest opposition guy while just shouting funny stuff about the state of the match and the batting of the batter. Importantly, he knew when to sledge, how to sledge, and who to sledge. So sledging can definitely be done gracefully and while actually being funny.... there is nothing defeatist about not bad mouthing any and everyone and coming across as a jerk. Imo these aussies, poms, pakis, and our own guyz who live by uttering obscenities are nothing but unintelligent people who do not know the art of sledging.

adi B Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 arey its all fine, kartey rehna jat and kohli :two_thumbs_up:..watson himself was laughing and would`nt have minded that
Bradman99 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Whilst I agree Watto is no angel, it is still poor form by Dhawan. I didn't see the part where Watto was laughing at Dhawan though, has anyone got a vid of that? If that was the case, then this is a bit of karma really. Still, looking at the size of Watson I would back him in a battle haha.

Still, looking at the size of Watson I would back him in a battle haha. It seems both Dhawan and Watson have shown poor taste here. But these things occasionally happen in modern cricket, maybe collateral damage of a really hard fought exciting series . Dhawan looks like someone who can act without thinking about the consequences, so Watson's size may not finally matter in a battle. :winky:
