What a ton! Brilliant ton batting with tail. Amazing shots and thought process. When he was 50, felt he has zero chance to get ton, yet managed it to get a glorious ton. Pure Class:hatsoff: Unfortunatley for him will have to stay at 6 as no one else could bat like that with tail:giggle: When in fact would be brillinat at 4 and score more runs if get that slot!

Very mature batting. Rohit's hunger for big innings and batting onnnn... that is the best part. Playing well when the situation is not comfortable is a very important quality.

No. Laxman had a different approach than Rohit had today. Laxman never shielded them like Rohit did today. Mostly batsmen who have big shots like Rohit can apply this shielding approach.

But, that does not mean he can't bat with the tail - I think he could do pretty good with them. The approach is different but he could bat very well.

He does not have the weapons to bat with tail like Rohit. Rohit can smack a four or six with immense power and then milk single. Laxy cant do that, nor Chanders. They have to approcah it in different way as dont have the weapons in hitting like rohit

Dont agree. They just dont have the attacking prowess to do it By the way, I think laxy was ok batting with tail, just had different approach to suit his style of batting

What! laxman was brilliant with the tail with out him we could have lost the mohali test .Against wi you can do what rohit did but against better attacks it will get difficult.so lets nto jump the gun.Best thing is to give confideence to tail .
