See Shami is very similar to Sreesanth and both are rhythm bowlers but have good wrist and fast arm, Shami has a more stable action and his action allows him to get more nip he is not a power bowler, similar to those two Pakistans Mohd Sami not a power bowler but had pace owing to action , rhythm, quick arm. Umesh is athletic and has a good runup and action uses his body and action to generate pace , Aaron, Shukla are the only two you can say have a power action as they have a shorter runup or don't use their runup too well but use the strength in their body to bowl a heavy ball like Watto, Kallis.

You are constantly ignoring a fact that ,both shami and umesh has strong physique,power doesnt depends on strong runup akhtar had few of the west Indians have one of the longest run ups, but it doesn't change the fact that they where power bowlers,shami and umesh both ball those heavy balls just like Freddy used to ball,but with there actions they generally bowl fuller length,and they can maintain high speeds all day with out breaking sweat.

And which is why I said it will be good to watch him bowl in FC cricket, how he bowls in 2nd and 3rd spells. This has been the case of Indian selectors and fast bowlers for most part, worst when Sreekant was at the helm, best when Ganguly, MORE, Chappel, were at the helm.

it is good that india have a pool of fast bowler . It would be niece if bowler like Rahul Shukla ,Ishwar Pandey ,Pawan suyal given a chance in T20 First . Players Like Umesh Yadav , Pankaj Singh , Varun Aaron , Uday kaul given more chances in test.

The only difference I see between Aaron and Atul sharma is that aaron actually played a few matches and we know he is a real person.....Don't get the aaron Hype...The guy hasn't played a game in 2 years,Is always injured...still can't beleive people talk about him as if he is ready in contention. One added advantage that many current Indian pacers have is that they can hit the deck hard with some deliveries and get swing with others. Shami, Umesh, Aaron, Suyal, Pandey, Mohit, Dhawal would qualify. Among older pacers, Srinath, Zak, Agarkar and RP to a lesser extent , had this quality. So, I feel, the current lot is more equipped to succeed under various conditions.

Dude,the only time Aaron's name keeps popping up is on forums,the guy hasn't even played in IPL(not the worst thing though) in the last 2 season,leave alone international games. After the Zak debacle in England,I will be weary of trying any bowler who has fitness issues,the guy hasn't played in 2 I repeat 2 full years.Umesh has been a workhorse,The guy touchwood has been bowling at brisk pace without compromise every time he gets a chance,that is the kind of bowlers we need. I am no expert in fitness or the art of bowling but I know this much,when a fast bowler has such a britle body,more often than not,he changes his action,the thing that worked for him in the first place.ALso I have no confidence in the coaching staff employed by BCCI to provide alternative solutions. Going by the list we do have enough probables with some potential,time to move past him.
