Sorry to say but you are underestimating the current Indian side. We never had a good bowlers in the past, for the first time I feel the contest would be equal, bowlers and batsmen would perform equally. SA were good at one point of time, at the moment they suck

Twice. Australia did that twice. :--D Also I think India will get creamed in South Africa since South Africa will suit home conditions to them and their battling lineup is pretty stacked. Smith, Petersen, Amla, Kallis, AB, Faffers, Duminy and Robin Peterson and Philander are pretty nifty with the bat.

Not to belittle this streak, but it is almost like how west indies came to India on a 6 match winning streak against NZ, Bang, Zim (2 games each).... look at the golden egg they laid in this series. This just shows the huge gap in quality among test sides at the moment (There is Eng and SA... then there is Ind, Aus..... then there are the rest). The only major difference with our impending tour to SAF is that we are playing the ODIs and a 2 day game before the start of the test series.... Hopefully the results are different for us.

I am talking about their current form. SA could have won 2-0 against Pakistan instead of drawing the series 1-1. SA Scores in Last 5 test matches Test 1 - 253 & 275/3 Test 2 - 326 & 182/6 Test 3 - 409 Test 4 - 249 & 232 Test 5 - 517 Only once SA managed to score 500+. 5 centuries were scored - 3 by ABDV (and one in 90s), 1 by Amla and 1 double century by Smith. The batsmen (apart from ABDV) are not in a very good form (including Amla). The only worry for India would be SA bowlers Steyn/Philander who are as usual in good form. There has been a decline in SA form since Kirsten left.
