Cook can but Kohli maybe unlucky as ODIs are losing steam and we may see far fewer ODI's in coming years. Best way to look at Sachin's achievement is it would take Cook+Kohli to get even close to what he did.

Yes, but to bowlers like Steyn and him who could seam the ball pitching on middle, one should keep a middle stump guard, rather than legstump that he seemed to have taken.

Cook was complete fail against us in 2011 except one innings which made up for his prior failures. In India, he had to succeed with no swing.

It's sad that people just come up with stupid mathematics to say he would do this in these may years. Nah gavaskar, dravid could have kept that out. Didn't move feet at all but have seen Dravid keep out similar deliveries of Akhtar. Half feet ahead and ball wouldn't have been allowed swing

what I am saying is the dismissal was due to just being stuck on the full ball.Rohit case is diff the ball was outside offstump and swinging away most of them were on good length rather than full.If steyn was littler fuller he might have got the edge.

Right. Steyn bowled at 6-8 meter mark on good length, not full length.
