Anyone else hoping for a yuvraj failure? If he succeeds, it will harm us in the long run
dafuq.. Yuvraj is a proven performer as far as ODI's is concerned. If he comes back to form it will only get better.

Why? Thats stupid Yuvi is one of our best odi players ever. And in odis has done well in overseas conditions as well. If yuvi finds forms and fires , it means he could be a force in SA and world cup in aus O how quickly people forget. Yuvi was a Great odi player, lets see if he still is.

My Playing XI Dhawan Rohit :fear: Kohli Yuvraj( Last chance ? ) Rayudu Dhoni Jadeja Ashwin Bhuvneshwar Kumar Shami Mohit :two_thumbs_up: Water boy - Vinay :((
that is a good team. but Raina will still play for Rayudu. Mohit will get ahead of VInay after his horror show in Bangalore and yes :csk: connection will help. we might have 5 players from :csk: playing tomorrow

+1 ..Yuvi is a match-winner in ODI's and T20's ..Rohit Sharma got so many chances when people were baying for his blood . .I remember our ODI series in SL in Aug -2012 ( Where Irfan PAthan and Manoj Tiwari last played with MOM performances and since then due to injuries , never got selected again ) that Rohit had almost binary scores 1 or 0 in all the five matches ..everyone else was beating the hell of the SL bowling ..India persisted and is now raking the moolah with Rohit's awesome form ..:nervous: Don't write off Yuvi ..He will be back with a bang :two_thumbs_up:

Scoring against this 8th ranked WI team at home will be misleading. He will fail miserably against better bowling attacks, even at home, as we saw against Aus
WI have Narine,Holder,Rampaul,Bravo.not a bad attack at all.

If VK plays before Mohit we should all admit at the blatant nepotism at all levels, coach, capt, selectors, when a bowler is dropped for repeated poor performance and not for injury how can he make a comeback like that lol, hope if Unadkunt, Veenie ever play they are taken for 120 runs in their spell or both get injured and we dont see them again ever. I am sure Yuvi will play with Raina, Dhawan, Rohit, Kohli, Jadeja, Ashwin, Shami, Mohit, BK, Dhoni

There is no point playing so many of our test players in this meaningless series. Not playing them would have served two purposes : They could have gone early to SA to get used to conditions well and probably could have slipped in an extra practice match. And also some of our young players like Rayudu, Rasool, Juneja etc could have been given a chance.

Every match we lose to WI, we will lose substantial points.

Or if you are too worried about losing with second string side, let full strength team play 2 ODIs, if they win both, they can skip last match and save 3-4 days time and test our bench strength in the 3rd ODI.

It is just in India, we talk about resting key players in every series. They all are young and can play as much as they can especially the batsmen. You don't want to miss matches when in form as it can unsettle you rhythm and form.

windies are a dangerous, unpredictable team in odis on pattas, they can easily blast our bowlers to oblivion..last time we laid pattas in home series vs WI in 2002,gayle,samuels,chanders,sarwan smashed our bowlers :fear:

Our cricketers play non stop. The recent break between Zim tour and Aus ODI series was longest I have seen in years. And anyway this is not for rest, I only suggest them playing an extra practice match or two as I think we'll be playing just the one 2-dayer before the tests.

This time, we play 3 ODIs before the 2 tests in SA, so the selectors want our boys to get ODI form before they head to SA
