ZK used to be a slightly better batsman and offered resistance while batting (5-7 years ago). Nowadays, he is total hack when batting. Shami Ahmed and Ishant should come ahead of ZK in batting order.

^ Well it is customary for him to have a few great spells some of which will get wickets. I am more concerned about "Team India" customary entire team batting collapse that happens overseas. In this series - so far, the entire team has not collapsed. Hopefully they can maintain it in 2nd Inn at Durban. That will be key for the final Test.

That is why the 6 runs scored by Vijay in the first test is such a significant innings. He completely saw him off. That is where Steyn could have run through our side.
