You can't really pick one over the other. And leg slip tactic helped to get Smith early at MCG but at Adelaide he scored over 200 runs without being dismissed.

Old guy Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 also since you are bringing up individual players jsut see warner vs umesh warner was scoring 100's without trouble but has found yadav difficult and gotten out cheaply and there is no clarke in these mcg while he played in adeliade ..so please lets not go there ..

Kohli has done above expectations, IMO, in SA and Oz and (far) below expectations in England. Rahane and esp Vijay have been real finds.

riya Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Rohit is unlucky that he didn't have batting partners like Bradman,WG Grace or Gary Sobers..For his supreme talent he has to adjust with people like Kohli,Vijay etc,thats why he is failing consistently.Even Sachin or Lara would have worked much better for him...
