the only time I have been wrong about AAP is about the number of seats they would win in Delhi - and nearly everyone was saying the same as me that they wouldn't win more than 10. I still say they won't last long and I will be proved right in a few years.
Huh? Here are some of your posts :haha: When team anna was fasting for Lokapal.
yeh team Anna puri dramebaaz ban gayi hai
^:hysterical: thats simply a result of Team Anna being too impatient and not even giving the Govt a chance to do some work. The Govt had repeatedly said that it would introduce the Lokpal Bill in Parliament in this session (and it has kept its word) so there was no need for another fast and jail bharo andolan. Instead of this Team Anna should have tried to be more reasonable then they would have got more support from the public.
Yes, Team anna being too impatient because Govt said it will introduce Lokpal :hysterical: But we are waiting for last 2 years..
Team Anna certainly is NOT the solution to any of our problems and sooner the people realize this, the better it will be for India. Whether people like it or not, this country is going to be run by Politicians so the only solution is better politicians and this can happen through some electoral reforms which keep criminals away from power and reduces money power in politics and helps candidates to be selected on merit.
This is your post before Kejriwal entered politics..And team kejriwal decides to ener politics for the exact same reason :haha: Now when he decides to come to politics
yeah sure!!! thats what India needs right now - Team Anna in politics. They want Power without responsibility. Some members of Team Anna have become extremely arrogant and worse still, they have this attitude that whatever they are saying IS RIGHT and anyone else who is saying something is simply wrong. Team Anna entering politics can be the most devastating blow to democracy in India.
Yeh toh hona hi tha. Kejriwal has developed political ambitions on the back of Anna's popularity and now he will come to know of the ground reality.
Oh they will certainly open their account. Although now that I think of it' date=' the range given by me is a bit too much and they would probably get around 5 only.[/quote'] Now who is being naive ? :hysterical:

Arvind Kejriwal isn't a common man anymore. He is now an opposition leader. How do anyone know that he is an incorruptable pureness personified politician?? I agree, he did raised his voice against corruption than anyone else, but does that make him incorruptable? He promised that he will do the basic needs to the people, but can he be able to do that without a single shrad of corruption ala someone like Mr. E. Sreedharan? I expect the Party's ideology to be "We will run a constituency without any corruption" or something like that.
As Arvnd himself stated it is not possible to eliminate corruption with a magic wand, but AAP wants to bring strong anti-corruption laws and special courts to handle corruption cases so that an accused will be punished if he is found guilty within max. of 6 months.. You can look at summary of the manifesto here

"If the BJP gives us in writing that it will pass the Jan Lokpal Bill by December 29 and set up Jan Sabhas (or public accountability mechanism) in Delhi as promised by the Aam Aadmi Party, we may consider supporting the BJP," Mr Bhushan said. "It's my view and has not been discussed within the party," he added.

Manifestos are just papers. Every party has one. They don't have to eliminate corruption, but does they promise, they will do those things in manifesto without any corruption?? Why the hesitation in promising it

Because government is not just legislature but also includes bureaucracy and judiciary which are not elected by the people.? AAP has promised to promote clean and no-corrupt officers, but it cant altogether remove all corrupt bureaucrats with a magic wand.

People say AAP have no experience in running govts and do not have ideology. Most do not know how it works or underestimate bureaucracy in the country.

a concrete vision on administrative, foreign, national security, economy will certainly go a long way to convincing some of the more educated they know what they are doing.i am not convinced about that.so far he has argued against parties on corruption and empowerment.just two areas. what will be his strategy for growth? our political parties keep it simple- when caste matters play caste, when religion matters, play religion.form networks with local strongmen even if they are rank criminals.what is his roadmap for expansion? while I have longed for alternative party(considering the decay in the main parties),I am not filled with excitement.

Could turn out to be just another party like con party. We can only wait and watch.

Chaiwalas and Doodhwalas have run states in this country and an IIT graduate with years of administrative experience can't? :hmmm:
