Who woulda thought? We had so many excuses ready if we had failed : lack of preparation, inexperience, first overseas tour since all seniors retired blah blah blah but this team has risen above all and now is close to beating the no1 Test team in their den that too in the first test of the tour. Hopefully this is a lesson to everyone, incl our own fans to never underestimate us in alien conditions. Hopefully this is the end of the negativity around. Mods don't you dare merge this. :isalute:

If by history we mean an unmitigated sequence of losses outside the subcontinent, then yes - this team will make history. The bowling is poor, very poor. The batting is good, very good but also uneven - Nohit, Shikar and Dhobi are walking wickets overseas.
