Jadeja, easily. Nothing suggest Yadav will bowl any better than the other pacers, who have done well enough. If anything, Yadav should come in for a genuine bat (rohit or rahane)

If we have to go with a spinner, I would go with Jadeja. He is nagging and can produce some rippers out of nowhere. I am pretty sure he would have taken a wicket or two today on the fifth days pitch which would have made the difference in the end. But personally I would go with an extra quickie, Yadav.

I'd go with Yadav. Our batsman have shown us they can stand up and we're playing 7 of them. Yadav Zak Shami Ishant After the embarrassment SA faced for 4 days I'm sure Steyn nd co. would want a greenish pitch. Jadeja is a line+length spinner, he will be tackled easily as well given SA pitches dont deteriorate enough for a spinner to make impact.

I am sticking with Ashwin, sticking with same team But problem is lack of left handers in team of saffies. A left arm spinner would probably be more effective. Maybe then if want all rounder for all rounder then Jadeja But if want best spinner for the team facing then Oijha would be in

Durban wicket needs spinners. period. Even SA won't do the foolish thing of leaving out a spinner. Petersen might come in. It is just a question of who is going to play. They have seen enough of Ashwin so much so even if Durban is a minefield they will play Ashwin confidently. Jadeja is an unknown quantity at this point. He will be more threatening against those righthanders.

We Indians have tendancy to be verry fickle and erratic in our selections. We should back our talent and give extended run. Ash has earned his spot with his performances at home. Yes he has struggled abroad, but I think he deserves to be persisted with. He is doing the job as a containment bowler for now. We cannot drop players every time they fail.

That being said I think Jaddu may be effective. I may consider actually playing 2 spinners lol

Its about winning and going over the line which no team could do today despite brilliant performances. If we had another fast bowler, we could have created more chances and SA would have been on the defensive. Ashwin is good at home but we cant afford to give away test matches so that he improves. His job is to get better and he should do that by going to SA by himself, bowling on pitches, playing county cricket etc. We shouldnt use test matches to help him get better, he must provide some bowling value beforehand, i.e shami
